CENTENARY STAGES - Sunday 22nd August 2010, RAF Barkston Heath, Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Sheffield & Hallamshire Motor Club's Centenary Stages Rally, first held in 2004 to celebrate the club's first 100 years will run this year as the Rainworth Skoda Centenary Stages and returns to RAF Barkston Heath after a successful 2009 event.

The event is a round of the Rainworth Skoda EMAMC Multi-Use Rally Championship, Roadrunner Phoenix Awards ANEMMC Stage Rally Championship, and the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship.

Marshals of all descriptions are required so if you can do a radio, start, finish or in-stage duties please get in touch.

The venue is non spectator so the only way to see the action is to marshal.

YORKSHIRE REVIVAL RALLY 2010 - 11th/12th September 2010

http://www.ilkleymotorclub.org.uk/yrr/index.html

Ilkley and District Motor Club have been running an event for the past four years which they have called the Yorkshire Revival Rally. The original Yorkshire Rally was run by the YSCC and was based for many years in the town of Ilkley. The event ran without a break during the 1950’s and 1960’s attracting entries of 180 cars, including works and works supported teams from the Rootes Group, BMC, Jowett etc.  Perhaps the most memorable winner was Pat Moss in 1962 when  she won the event outright in a works Mini Cooper.

The Revival Event will run to Historic Rally format featuring Tests run during daylight hours followed by a night navigational event.  With a similar format to the 2009 event, it will start at around lunchtime on the 11th, with tests on private land on the Saturday afternoon, followed by a full night Navigational Rally, using classic Yorkshire lanes and finishing with breakfast on Sunday morning.

The event will have a National B status but there will also be a Clubmans event of just the tests, which will finish on Saturday evening.

The 2010 event has particular significance for IDMC as this is their centenary year and they are consequently hoping for an excellent entry.

The event will be based at the Askham Bryan College for the second year and one of the Test venues will be at Sherburn airfield just round the corner from De Lacy and IDMC wondered whether DeLacy might be interested in helping out with marshalling.

At the moment Chief Marshal, Karen Spencer, is recruiting in all areas so if you feel you might be able to help either at Sherburn or elsewhere please contact Karen directly:

Roger Albert Clark Rally Friday 26th Nov

Mark Dickenson will be running Dalby on Friday night run twice with FC Approx 19.30 and finish time approx 10.00/10.30.

The event has done really well to secure this forest as it is only run once a year, so don't miss out on this one the MKIIs roaring around Dalby once again.

The stage has the Woodyard in it which will see the cars twice  and will be Floodlit

We will need plenty of man power will be needed, so all jobs are up for grabs.  Let Mark know what you want to do and if it is not taken then you can do it.
