Substantial roadworks on the "new" A1mean that the DeLacy Rallyhouse no longer stands alongside the A1 trunk road.  Instead the A1 has been re-routed and the remains of the local section of the "old" A1 has been re-designated A162/A1246 .

At time of writing (February 2007)  the work has now been completed.

 I hope the attached maps make our location clearer(!)
