Monday 16th April 2007

The organisers of the DeLacy Spring Stages would like to thank all who competed in the event yesterday or helped us marshal.  It was a great day with great weather to match.  We hope that the crews injured in the two accidents will soon be well and competing again and we thank everyone for their patience whilst the incidents were resolved.  Congratulations are due to Andy Baker and Lee Burgess who won this, the inaugural Spring Stages and we hope to see you all again at one of our events.

Thanks again and we hope you all had a great day's sport.

Route to Driffield

A major maintenance project has begun on the A166 at Stamford Bridge to improve the safety and structure of the bridge.  Consequently the bridge in Stamford Bridge will be closed from March 5th 2007 for a maximum of 12 weeks to address a number of structural defects and improve the carriageway surfacing.

Note that there will be diversions for local traffic and heavy good vehicles will be re-directed to the A1079 and the A164.
